While I love this curio and am so inspired by its design, I don't really know what to say about it. The variations in metallic brilliance catches my eye and I just want to stare into the many facets and details of the design. The antique wood and gesso frame is painted in a fantastic gold shade that truly glitters. The antique scissor style medical tool must have seen an enormous amount of gore and macabre surgery. Combined with a vintage medical diagram of a men's torso this curio is a real treat for the lover of morbid anatomy.
