Finger Bones Curio

How many ways are there to break a finger, let me count the ways. Tightening a corset, chopping the wood. Repairing the wagon, stoking the fire. Tending the pet raven, beating the rugs or volunteering at the alms house.

The lucky injured who lived close enough to a large enough city center might get a chance to have a little surgery, without anesthetic of course. But the doctor would take his macabre instruments and do what he can to set the bone back in place. Maybe the finger will only be slightly crooked.

The Finger Bones Curio is made from a real antique medical tool, what it was really used for? Just use your imagination. The antique picture frame measures 7 1/2" by 5 3/4" to create a smaller focal point for your wall.

Grunge Geek Design could almost be called a psychiatric study of Laura's mind. Watch her mind spin as she mixes momento mori, antique and medical history, zombies, forensic science, Victorianism, rockabilly and pin up style, romanticized pirates (but not real pirates because they are actually really not very nice) and anything morbid.
